Pizza Robbery- Parysh Wood
New Brunswick Police recently arrested and charged a man with theft. Policemen in South Brunswick arrested 21 years old man Parysh wood who is a member of a gang and goes by the name “P gun and Pistol”. Wood is a leader of a group that has been involved with various robbery incidents according to the police report.
On November 30th, 2012, a delivery man went to deliver pizza at N building of a complex on Quincy Circle. At the arrival at the residence, the delivery man was informed by the residence that no pizza was ordered. The deliveryman began to walk back to his vehicle when three suspicious men approached him from behind saying that the ordered pizza was for them. As the deliveryman was going back to the vehicle to get the pizza, one of the gunmen removed his handgun and pointed the man on his head demanding for cash. The gang took off with the deliveryman’s wallet, money, and pizza before learning to the nearest parking lot. According to the eye witness report, the gang men later fled using an older model minivan which was dark in color.
Police did their investigation led by Det. Ron Seaman, and together with the Middlesex Prosecutor’s office. The police collected cell phone data used around the area and the time of robbery, and Wood was linked to the robbery according to the time and location. Currently Wood is serving at Middlesex adult correctional center on $100,000 bail. According to Chief Raymond Hyducka, the level of violence in the society is low, but when it is reported, they make they follow all directions and solve the problem. The chief also mentioned that the pizza robbery issue was solved in very short period of four months because the investigators were determined to curb crime and did not give up on the investigations.
Chief Raymond said we live in digital era, where technology is advanced, and only a footprint is needed to find a robber. The investigation was carried out by South River Police department, and the New Brunswick Police department. The pizza robbery investigation is still ongoing with police making several other arrests hoping to arrest the entire gang. The police are confident with their investigations and have no doubt that the victims are guilty of the offense they committed. According to the police, the pizza robbery took place at around 9:30 pm.
